Canadian Christian leader Nathaniel Pawlowski believes the Church has to be involved in politics and be on the frontlines fighting for the nation.
“What is going on in the world, especially in Canada, is the fault of the Church. It’s the fault of a complacent Church that allowed for this to happen. It is the Church’s role to hold the government accountable. It is the Church’s role to fight against miscarriages of justice. It is the Church’s role to be in that position,” Pawlowski told guest host Karen Kingston during the August 17 episode of “Let’s Talk America” on Brighteon.TV.
“The Church has to be involved in politics. The narrative that the Church shouldn’t be involved in politics is a lie. And it’s what got us into this mess. The Church has to be involved in politics. The Church has to be on the frontlines fighting.”
The eldest son of the persecuted Polish-born Canadian pastor, Artur Pawlowski, lamented the fact that the people let the government dictate what the Church is allowed to do.
Pawlowski added that if every single pastor and Christian took a stand the way his father did, Canada would not have been in the mess that it is in right now. He warned that the government is going to manufacture another crisis like monkeypox and “the people must not allow it to happen.”
According to Pawlowski, it takes only three percent of the population to start a movement of resistance against a tyrannical government trying to take full control of the country.
Kingston then asked about what she called the horrifying, unreasonable and wrongful persecution of Pawlowski’s father who had simply exercised his freedom of religion and freedom of speech in Canada.
Pawlowski pointed out that the persecution of his father, who organized the Street Church Ministries, has started in the early 2000s when Pastor Artur was arrested for publicly reading the Bible and giving free goods and services to the homeless and poor people in Calgary. “So this started long ago with the government implementing laws that were blatantly unconstitutional, illegal and just wrong. Completely contrary to what Canada was founded on and biblical principles,” Pawlowski said.
Pawlowski also noted the double standard during the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdowns, with church services being deemed illegal and unessential. The goal of any communist regime or dictator, Pawlowski said, is to become God.
“And anyone who obeys a higher power other than the government will be crushed, silenced, arrested and harassed because they cannot have it,” he said. “Pastors were the most persecuted over the last two years because they obey God over the government.”
Kingston mentioned that there are actually laws being passed that are intolerant against Christianity and God. Pawlowski agreed and cited as an example a law in Calgary that prohibits people from giving free goods and services.
“Giving a pamphlet or a Bible is considered giving a free good or a free service and that is illegal under the law,” Pawlowski said. He shared that his father was arrested before for merely giving a sandwich to a homeless person.
